The importance of having a right hand thumb

For a month or soo… I am having a technical problem with my right hand thumb, it was suddenly infected and this infection started to grow weirdly, and in the end it started to bleed …. It was really irritating to have it bleeding every time I remove the plaster, and then after a month of drama, a month of pain, a month of non stopping bleeding and a thumb who turned black I finally decided to go to the doctor (esh3ogba)….

The doctor said, we shall have this infected area removed by a surgery, and with a huge question mark printed on my face, a stupid look & a mouth widely opened I finally said : ok …. At least I get red of it…. Now it is rapped, supposedly untouchable not to mention that it became the adorable toy of my 7 months old kid and irritating as hell. Yet this is not the problem……

I didn’t know before that this small part of the body could be this important and yet that much useful, I really pity the people living with no hands ….. Now I can’t change the diaper of my baby, I can’t even wash my self properly…… last time I took a shower, I couldn’t easily control my left hand to wash my hair so I got the shampoo inside my eyes….. forgetting am a person with a permanent contact lenses, I didn’t get them removed…. So in the next day, my eyes were red like blood, and burning like fire….so I had to live with one contract lens and a blind-like other eye…..soooo only to complete the last chapter of the drama, and with ( 3een 3ora oo 3een 9a7e7a ) I didn’t see the water dropped on the floor by my babies, so I slide on the floor and make ( el sheqa) to get all my bones moved from their places and aberrantly a sick leave for tommorow……

Further more on living without a right hand thumb…… u can imagine that at work I can’t normally use my office tools propaply, I cant turn the pages without missing some others, I cant write with a pen, I cant even text using my black berry like the normal people, I text using one finger like an old woman who has just bought a mobile for the very first time and trying to write her first message…. I can’t even close my buttons, not to mention washing my hands, brushing my teeth, using the remote control or even the most stupid things like eating probably with out sticking the spoon between the very wrong fingers…..

Thank u God for having ten fingers, and please pray for my finger to be healed as fast as possible…..

Note: a friend of mine just had her tooth removed, and she was really sad to loose it, we kept saying that it is ok …… nobody can notice it’s gone, thank your god that your eyes r still there …. she said noooooo my tooth is far more important than my eyes!!!! we really started to laugh hilariously that day, we kept joking and asking her everyday if her tooth is still more important than her eyes, and she kept seriously saying: yes….. I think I can understand her feelings now somehow, the moment u loose a part of your body, u really think it’s the most important one u had looooool
